MY BESTFRIEND

My mum passed when I was young, I spent my childhood and teenage years watching my friends with their mothers and wishing for someone to love me like that, I always felt out of place on mother’s day or mother-daughter dances at elementary school it wasn’t until I had a daughter myself that I managed to accept the loss of my mother and I focused all my energy on making sure my daughter has the childhood I always wished for.
