REMINDER TO BREATHE

Inhale. Exhale. Inhale. Exhale. Sometimes, well to be. honest quite often, those two words are the only things that go round my head in a day. Just knowing that all I have to do is to keep breathing in and out until the day is over and then I can go to bed and the next day can be a fresh start. When I cancel on a friend saying I’m ‘busy’, I am busy just not what their idea of busy is. I’m busy silencing the worries. I’m busy calming a racing heart. I’m busy telling myself everything will be okay even if it feels like I’ve completely lost control. 

All this time, I had thought that this was me fighting my battle in order to regain the happiness younger me had but then I stumbled across somebody called Jazz on TikTok and she made me realize that I wasn’t fighting I was just surviving each day as it came. But I realize now that this was no quality of life at all and I now strive to make plans and follow through with them and I’m not saying that I don’t have bad days anymore, I still have anxiety, I still have panic attacks and I still have days where I don’t leave the house. But I now have a life.

So, to anybody reading this if you ever feel like you are merely getting through the day, then stop surviving and start fighting! you got this, I believe in you!
