I was taking pictures of a moonrise on the beach near my home. The beauty of nature always moves me and makes me so grateful for life and for the people who have imprinted mine with their love and presence. I wrote something right then that I wanted to share with this community that has meant a lot to me.

"My Eyes" —  
I stood alone on a beach In the dark waiting.
For the moon to  Peek above some Dense clouds
It was captivating!
I sent you the photos I love sending you
Snapshots of the things.
That fill my heart and soul With the deepest joy.
But I’d rather give you my eyes To see exactly what I’m beholding
My heart for a moment.
To allow you to feel What is welling up from my depths
Producing the most Blissful gratitude for life.

You’re part of that bliss you know …
Part of my overwhelming gratitude is the Unique impression You’ve made on my soul.
Souls are more distinct than snowflakes.
I’m so grateful to have had even the slightest glimpse of yours.  
It’s breathtaking.
