To the anon who requested a letter about sexuality,

I think you and I are going through the same (issue). Except… it shouldn’t be an issue. Because we are free. Free to love whoever we want. Or not to love. We are free to be who we are because this is a part of our identity. This is a part of who we are. We are not worth any less for loving who we love. We are not any different for loving the people that we love. We are still the same people we were. Nothing has changed.

I do understand that it is scary to admit it, to tell people about that part of you that no one, not even you, was allowed to enter before this point. It is frightening to consider their reaction to the announcement, whatever it is.

My advice to you, the one I am currently abiding by, is to take your time. Just take all the time you need. Figure it out alone, be confident about it, and speak up whenever you are ready. Do not feel pressured by external factors to share something you are not ready to share. Do not think much about the future; the future will take care of itself and unravel itself when it’s time.

Focus on your present moments and your present feelings. Eventually, everything will fall into place and it will all, hopefully, be alright. For all of us.
