Just the beginning: From Amanda

I wrote this as a reminder to myself on the day I moved out of my house with tears streaming down my face at the tail end of a heart breaking divorce and 6 short months into my recovery journey…

This may feel like the end of the road for you-but it is just the beginning of a life crafted single handedly by you and God. The life you’ve always been meant to live. Choose to continue to show up each day and use the pain, strength, and experience to push you to new levels in a life greater than you could ever imagine. This is your time.

We understand we sometimes need more support than writing and reading letters. We all experience hard times. But you are not alone. If you or someone you know is struggling, there are many forms of support. If you or a loved one is in immediate danger, call 911. It is important to notify the operator that it is a psychiatric emergency and ask for an officer trained to assist people experiencing a psychiatric emergency.
